I had assumed we were due an Omicron.2 wave (after previously hoping that had already been our most recent omicron wave). But I guess "we removed all restrictions" is also likely to lead to a new wave of infections, even though I hoped we'd somehow escaped that apparently inevitability... And I guess the other explanations are plausible too.
