This is one of THE BEST pieces of writing I have ever read. I'm familiar with many of the experiments mentioned, of the history... And still it's putting it over in such a compelling and complete way that I'm in awe.

And I agree utterly.

Agreed. Deciding what dead people would have thought about situations they didn't directly speak about is just asking for trouble (and unnecessary).

I'm another person from Québec, though I don't live there, anymore. I am currently about an hour's walk from the losest accessible point, by foot.

4. Of course, there are people who are still terrified of exactly that prospect. Who promise themselves to make sure of "no more Einsteins" or "no more Angine de Poitrines" or "no more ". Because they were taught to want to keep things as they are. Their grip on human society has to be pried off.

I'm sure the courts will eventually grant ownership to the corporations via whichever person wrote the A.I. prompt that produced the output. I believe the "credit" will flow that way, because it seems to be that the "blame" already works that way. For instance, aren't people being charged with crimes for creating porn with the likeness of other people?
