Why is a study that looked at only 20 children getting national media coverage? Such a small sample is hardly the best scientific methodology.

So that's a change from 5% to 50% - dramatic enough to be significant, even with a sample size of 20.

The percentages don't matter what matters is the standard error. Even still the statistics used on such a small sample won't be all that powerful do there is some reason to doubt the significance of any statistical significances found.
