Date: 2025-10-07 05:36 pm (UTC)It grinds my gears a bit in the section where the government and ministers are talking, all about precious time, and hardworking people, and hard-working people, and working people (all within 10 lines), as if only working people buy houses, or the changes only benefitted working people.
When you get to the housing and finance industry people, they all talk about buyers or consumers :-)

The orientation of our house, and the fact that it is a shared property, means that rooftop solar has been a bit more trouble than it's been worth to figure out. But a couple of small panels like these on the exterior wall outside our (south-facing) den seems much more tractable, and might be worth exploring. I wonder if anyone in our neck of the woods does small installations like this...
