Comics anticipation

Grant Morrison is doing 12 issues of Superman later this year, which I'm rather looking forward to.

Coolness, I'd heard rumors of this project around a year ago, but nothing definite since then. One of the major rumors (coming from an interview with Morrison himself) is that he's going to attempt to make this both a cool comic and a chaos magic ritual where he attempt to "wake up" the Superman avatar. I'm definitely intrigued, especially since he (rather surprisingly to me, since I dearly love most of Whedon's TV work) did a far better job with the X-Men than Joss Whedon is currently doing.

Yeah, I rather liked the start of the Whedon run, but didn't really feel that it's coming together that well.

I mostly don't feel that Joss should be allowed to do two things at once, a factor I blame for the dip in quality at the end of Buffy.

Last time I checked he was finishing production on Serenity.

He's got another 12 months on the X-Men. I hear rumblings that Joel Silver is stalking him for the Wonder Woman movie.
