3. VPNs obfuscate IPs, so I don't see how IP blocking can help.

Yes, it's very irritating how when you search for something specific you instead get a list of results of other stuff you can buy. But it's extremely obvious - I'm surprised it hasn't come out before now.

It's deceptive, but difficult to establish in law as fraudulent...

Nevertheless, it would delight me to hear a case defended by an argument that the public have no reasonable expectation of honesty from an advertiser-funded online service.
