Yes, there are 3 kinds of classical music recording nerds: repertoire nerds, performer nerds, and audio nerds. These are the kinds of blither that audio nerds have been uttering for decades. (I'm a repertoire nerd myself.)

None of this hi fi tat is new- it used to be medite boards as a support.

That said, all our cable connectors are gold as that really DOES make a hell of a difference to sound quality!

I've seen "audio grade" gold-plated mains fuses for sale. Maybe you should try some of them? They were only about 30 quid each as I recall.

We use ESD-safe foam everywhere in the electronics industry. $299.95 for a set of 10 blocks? I can get those custom water-cut for $5.
