The buying of any kind of shiny disk bought in a physical shop counts for the second question.

I buy all of mine on Amazon, so they don't count.

Oh, in that case, I need to change my answer - I bought a DVD in WHSmiths a few weeks ago.

Also there's a used shiny disk shop behind the Virgin Megastore (very convenient for shoplifters!) that has great deals sometimes. For example, last year I got all seven seasons of Buffy for 60 euros total.

I buy most of my NEW DVDs online.
However DVDs now show up in charity shops in a wide enough selection that I quite often pick up older films there.

Bought Aliens, Temple of Doom and Last Crusade today for £1 each.
