John Williams Score

3. I think that the biggest thing about the trailer is John Williams' score; just as it was the biggest thing in the 1978 movie.
Williams doesn't appear to get a composer credit, but https://www.gamesradar.com/entertainment/dc-movies/james-gunn-says-he-is-bringing-back-that-iconic-john-williams-score-in-superman-to-pay-tribute-to-when-he-first-heard-it-as-a-child/ makes clear that his score is an essential part of the new film.

(OK, the theme is very reminiscent of the Jaws and Star Wars themes, but there is still more power in this music than most movies.)

Yes, it's a definite signal that the *real* Superman is back.

1) I don't follow all of what this writer says. He seems to be saying both that nonsalaried income does count if you earn it in the UK, and that it doesn't count even if you earn it in the UK.

3) I really don't want to see a movie in which Superman has to spend his time defending himself from charges that he's the bad guy. Superman is Superman! If he isn't, I have no interest.
But I don't know what you mean by "the *real* Superman," because my sole cinematic interaction with Superman was in 1978, and I have no idea what's happened since. Nothing good, by the look of it.

4. Chenoweth's singing is lovely, but she cannot move most of her face. Also, as soon as the Chenoweth and the conductor heard "voice teacher," they shouldn't have been shocked at how well Horn sings---most voice teachers perform, or used to!

Wasn't there a time when Kindles did text to speech, but then it was removed because of the harm to talking books ?
Maybe that was marketing and they really removed it because it didn't sound good. In which case this AI version is a sledgehammer to produce good text to speech ?
