The week of 1.5 children
Feb. 26th, 2021 08:59 amAfter five days of being back at nursery Sophia still complains that she has to go, but the complaint lasts about three seconds and is mollified by us saying "Today is a nursery day, and tomorrow is a nursery day, but then it's the weekend!"* - and reminding her of the names of some of the other children.
Tuesday and Wednesday she was a little solemn when we got there, but yesterday and today she ran most of the way through the grounds, and happily stepped through the door all by herself.
And it's been great to have a transition week, with Sophia back in nursery before I go back to work on Monday. We've been for a few walks, spent a fair bit of time collapsed on the sofa, and the house is somewhat less of a disaster area!
Next week: getting my password reset, my account reactivated, and dealing with 6 months of emails!
