Date: 2021-02-26 10:27 pm (UTC)From my PoV, he's one of the less stupid & creepy members of the LessWrong cult, but he is also very much a member of the LessWrong Cult, and as such at least holds the door open for white supremacists and fascists, and also periodically defends astonishingly terrible &/or stupid ideas, largely because they are LessWrong cult dogma. I found Elizabeth Sandifer's critique of the entire movement (in Neoreaction a Basilisk) well worth reading, and I agree 100%.
