Today's unbelievable headline: Ireland to Ban Smoking in Workplace (That Means Pubs, Too).

I never thought I'd see the day.

I've heard people argue against a total ban, saying that pubs ought to be allowed to opt out, but (as I've also seen argued) this just means that bar staff (who don't usually have the option to change jobs to places that haven't opted out) will still be stuck with the smoke.
