That was Friday's unbelieveable headline. But still, it sounds unworkable. The rate of illness form passive smoking in bar staff is pretty high though, so it's be good if it works.
I've heard people argue against a total ban, saying that pubs ought to be allowed to opt out, but (as I've also seen argued) this just means that bar staff (who don't usually have the option to change jobs to places that haven't opted out) will still be stuck with the smoke.
Are they going to ban drinking in the workplace, too? I mean, hey, it helps cause fights and such. Things could get violent enough to be deadly to others. Could happen. 9_9
