The second was better. If it had been the same as the first I'd not have cared about the series at all.

Good to know, thanks. Maybe I'll get round to catching up with the Silver Chair some time, then.

It was a better book, I think, too; to be fair to Disney/Walden Media, their subject matter in the first one is pretty cheesy to start with.

Dawntreader was always my favourite, so I'd've been truly appalled if they got it badly wrong.
