Peaking early.
Nov. 24th, 2007 01:13 pmFirst snowy peak of the trip up to Skye. I can't remember if I mentioned that I was heading northwards for a week or not. Work's been pretty intensive recently (good, but hard work) and so when Morag and Bex asked me if I wanted to join them for a week on Skye I jumped at the chance.
I've never made it that far North before (except for a trip to Norway with the OTC to learn cross-country skiing back in 1992), and I'm looking forward to seeing the Highlands in winter.
Erin's goodbye party was last night, so I'm dramatically underslept today. Fortunately Bex has had more sleep and I can fall asleep in the back until we get there. Not that I'm showing any signs of doing so so far.
I'm not sure what mobile signal will be like, so I may well be largely out of contact. I'm certainly not intending to read LJ on my phone, so you'll have to do without my comments for a week. Enjoy it while you can...
