Our SF&F library, almost entirely paperbacks, lines the walls of a good-sized room in our house, double-stacked on the bookcases. There's a lot of nostalgia in that room, but with the increasing difficulty (for me) of reading the typical font sizes used and the convenience of e-books, it has been a while since we've needed to scramble for where to put another bookcase. It's been a gradual change over many years, but it does feel like the end of an era now.

Yeah, I got rid of a bunch when I moved home about 6 years ago. And most new things I read are electronic.

Occasionally, that's a shame.
