What's also depressing is that America's contribution to world science is really astounding. I don't seriously think that will change, but this is just an embarassment to anyone in the industry. It's not helped when Mr Bush goes on about God talking to him.

I wonder if anyone's going to try to the intelligent design nonsense in Britains state schools?
