I went to bed at 12:30 last night, with a spinning head and a vague feel of nausea, due to pure tiredness.

I've worked 5 of the last 6 Saturdays and 4 of the last 6 Sundays - I'm a tad worn out.  But the project is _nearly_ done - one show-stopper left to go, but I know what it is, I just didn't have the right person around to fix it on Friday.  And then it's pretty much done (although there are always little things that turn up).

So I woke up this morning at 6am, needing to pee, looked at my watch to see how much longer I could sleep until I had to get ready for work and then realised I didn't have to go to work today.

_That_ was the best feeling in the world.

In other work news - I met with my new manager (I'm swapping teams in a week, once this project is polished nicely) and she used phrases like Visual Basic, C#, Java and Agile Development.  All of which makes me as happy as a baby with particularly sexy candy.

If only my mouth didn't taste like a camel's armpit.

So I'm guessing you signed a form opting out of the protections afforded by the EU working time directive?

Tsk.
