Seconded...also there's QuickTime Alternative, which that site hosts as well (though I'd originally gotten both elsewhere). QT's not nearly as obnoxious as Real--not many things are--but it has it's annoyances.

eh? I've never had a problem with RealPlayer. Except perhaps these annoying upgrade windows now. I was horribly angry with Quicktime for a while though, til I found out my problems were MediaPlayer's fault.

So, when's the Dr. Who gonna premiere? And will they show it on BBC America, I wonder.

One way to get rid of the upgrade windows (till the next time you run RealPlayer) is to add this little program to your Control Panel...

It allows you to delete what you don't want to run when you boot Windows.

oh, but i was referring to the upgrade windows that show up when I start RealPlayer. I had it set already to not start automatically in the Task bar. Thanks though.
