First privately owned spaceship makes it into space.  BBC article here.

Early days yet, but hopefully it's the start of some interesting tech.

I can't begin to tell you how exciting I think this is.

I mean, seriously, I think they might be a bit liberal in their estimates of 15-25 years until a tourism industry springs up, but it still means that it might, before I die, for ordinary people (albeit ordinary people with lots of money) to go into space.

Nonsense! I made the first privately-funded journey into space in 1996. It required approximately £2400 worth of class A and B drugs (based on average of Student Loan and overdrafts) and I landed in late 1998.

90 minute journey? I see your 90 minutes and raise you two years.
