It being the summer solstice at 4am Monday Morning, I've taken the day off work and will be climbing Arthur's Seat for the dawn.

Anyone care to join me?

Was seriously considering taking a train up the night before, wandering the streets of Edinburgh until 2:30am then surprising you on top.

Damn Fable.

I want to do more cool things like that :'(
(o' course I would have done it with a week's holiday or so, Valladolid was fun, but there's only so many day trips I can manage without wanting to stick around at the destination)

Fun1

Sorry if I am upsetting you.

But honestly, I am not sure. You see, I worked in SF and fantasy book publishing and attended _many_ cons over the years and met many nice SF people, both in the USA and in the UK.

Add to that some time spent in Scotland (relatives and friends) and that's why I was interested, that and the common friends.

But again, if this is upsetting or anything, I'll vanish--no worries.

We would, but for the skintness, so Caitlin and I will be walking up to the point where we can see the sea and watching the sunrise from there.
