Filters

Just to clarify slightly, I do have filters.  But they are for categorisation, not because I read some and not others.
Current filters:

People (people on LJ)
News (BBC, Slashdot, Register, etc)
Comics (Dork Tower, PVP, etc.)
LJ (site news of various kinds)
Syndicated People (Neil Gaiman, Lawrence Lessig, Warren Ellis)
Links (Blogdex, BoingBoing, LinkMachineGo)

I read People, SynPeople, LJ and Comics on a regular basis, news and links when I have the time.

Dude, just to go on record, I'm not offended by being dropped. Most of what I post is inane drivel, and frankly, we only know each other at all through LJ.

Exactly. I'm never offended by being dropped - some people like my writing, some people don't. Some people like it enough to make time for it, but some people have actual lives that keep them away from the computer.

I don't have much of one of those, but I have enough of one to mean that 175 friends is mostly enough (and sometimes too much).
