Apr. 1st, 2004 06:42 pmI have no brain! No brain at all!
I went to bed at 11:15, sure I'd lie there staring. I lay down, magazine to one side and thought "In a moment I'll start reading for something to do."
Next thing I know it's 7:30 am and there's a cat staring at me hungrily.
So I set the snooze button for 8:15, sweep the cat off of my chest and wait for sleep to slowly draw me in.
Next thing I know it's 8:15 and the cat is purring in my ear in a way that somehow manages to suggest that if some food doesn't turn up soon it'll start to eat my head.
So today was a much better day than yesterday. I managed to get through it without any coffee at all, and although I flagged somewhat towards the afternoon I actually felt human. Tired, but humanly tired.
Brain's still not working of course. Every time I try to write something it comes out stilted and wrong. Maybe tomorrow It'll come back to me.

Date: 2004-04-01 06:10 pm (UTC)ROFLMAO... Oh, yeah, I know that purr. I get to hear it quite often. My silent-boy (icon) is very good at waking one with the stare suggesting the same thing.
