Mar. 4th, 2004 11:16 pmI've spent the last few weeks elbow deep in VBA.
Today I got to play with VB itself, worked out how to create a DLL in about 3 minutes and dumped a whole bunch of the code I've created into it so that anyone can use it from their own programs.
I'd rather be using something with proper OOP, but it's miles better than COBOL.
In other news, Ed has stripped the wallpaper in the bathroom, organised new flooring and someone to fit it for the bathroom and kitchen, booked a plumber to fix a (small) leak, organised the buying of sealant and paint for the bthroom and generally seems to be on a campaign to make the flat nice. I may have to give him the bathroom to take with if he ever moves out.
I'm away in Kent for the weekend, so hopefully I'll be more alive next week.
Bed now. More awake tomorrow...
