I've just been reading the Star Wars Timeline Gold.
Well, I say reading, I mean skimming. And by skimming, I mean hitting page down an awful lot and occasionally stopping to admire the sheer depth of geekiness that some people will go to.
It's an amazing project where they've detailed all of the major events in the Star Wars Universe (in both the films, books, comics, tv series, radio versions, fanfic, etc. etc.). They've broken out the fanfic and apocrypha (stuff which used to be canon but isn't anymore) into seperate files, but the main file is still 780 pages long.
Seven hundred and eighty.
It's one of those things that I'm very glad is out there, because hey, it's nice to know that it's there and that someone has put it all together. But Goddamn, I'm certainly not going ot read it.
I'm sure that Scott and Rob are downloading it as we speak.
