I'm not sure about the Watchmen movie "thing" but I have heard via the grapevine that Moore enjoyed David "Blade" Goyer's screenplay - the only screenplay Moore has ever enthused about.

ah, quite possibly. The rumour I heard was that there were two writers.

I coulda sworn I had a copy floating around this place somewhere....
