Nicked from [livejournal.com profile] yonmei, who had it as a meme. I've reformatted it as a poll and broken it into sections.

Ugh, hard questions! I checked some things that I don't believe in in a firm, physical way, but I believe in the power of. Like Santa, and magic. I don't believe that everything has to be seen and measured to be real. I know Santa does not live in the North Pole and spend 364 days a year (365, this year) making toys, but I believe there is power in the Santa myth.

So, you know, do I believe that David Copperfield really makes the Eiffel Tower disappear? No. Do I believe there is magic all around us? Definitely.

And rights? A whole heck of a lot more iffy than magic, if you ask me.

Also, auras? I don't believe people really walk around glowing, but I believe that some people are so sensitive to the moods and expressions of others that they can read them by looking at them, and that one way this sense can be expressed is by an "aura".

I presume you mean 'in general'.

Also, you should probable let people know what you want with 'clicky'. ^_^

I try to believe in everything and nothing all at once. It's pretty hard to hack sometimes.

I'll add that it defintely all depends upon what you mean by each of the 'buzzwords'. I mean, if you asked me "do people see/sense stuff that most folks would give 'ghost' (or whatever) as first choice of explanatory descriptive word, the of course, the answer is 'yes'. I think that it's all what I consider to be much simpler (and what a lot of people would probably see as more complex) than that - any sort of perception is prone to certain faults and perception in an insanely genetically limited species such as humans is probably quite prone to very similar glitches in different individuals.

And I'm right, unless God wants to step up and personally argue with me :-) [yes fully aware of my 'fallible perception but I don't believe until I see for myself' irony there]

Gosh. I hope the half of your readers who don't believe in plastic surgery never know anyone who's suffered serious facial burns.
