Extended Apathy
May. 10th, 2002 07:26 pmYou may have noticed a slowdown in comments recently. This is partially due to the fact that I've been spending less time in front of the computer, and partially because I've been moire tired. I tend to have ideas during the day, and then by the time I get home, (a) I'm too tired to focus properly and (b) my enthusiasm for my idea has gone.
My enthusiasm tends to be like that. I'll have a fantastic idea, pour everything into it, explore it, and then get bored of it. The problem is that if it's an idea for a journal entry, I really need to be near a computer for stages 1 and 2 of the process, or I hit stage 3 and nothing gets said.
What I need is a laptop with a mobile-phone-based connection, so that I can dial-up from the train on the way home and post from there.

Date: 2002-05-12 02:55 am (UTC)On the train home (where you seem to want to be able to post from) use a pen to write down your entry on a piece of paper.. (you remember pen and paper, they were popular last century).. then when you get home, it's a simple matter to transfer your entry from the almost-obsolete hardcopy to a computer..
