1) Additional grotesquery here from the weird side effects of trying to ban trans women from the ladies' loo: a) cis women (typically but not only butch lesbians) being accosted in the ladies' loo because they "look like men"; b) trans women who've given up fighting and are going to the men's loo being accosted because they "look like women"; c) trans men in the converse situation. In the words of Housman, this is stupid stuff.

Oh yes, if your data is held in the US, or in the hands of a US-owned company then they can just grab it. And everyone has turned a blind eye to it because the USA has generally not behaved terribly. Now though...
