Saw this on the Latest Things page, and that second link is concerning, to say the least. I don't even know why I'm still surprised at this behaviour from Meta; it's par for the course from them.

A similar-in-principle technique is already applied to textile conservation. Print the missing/damaged bit onto a piece of clorh of similar weight and then weave it in by hand.
