Life with two children: Surrounded by my past

Gideon has found the Cartman doll that some of my friends got me back around the time the South Park movie came out and he now refuses to sleep without it, has long conversations with it, and frequently gives it advice about things he's learned.

Along with his current favourite bedtime book being The Wolves in The Walls (because "it's a little bit scary") I feel like he's picking up on a specific strand of my past.

I wonder what he's going to like next.

If you're lucky it will just keep going. My younger son, who is 34, shares my delight in discussing movies and books after we've consumed them. Right now he is waiting for me to finish a book so we can discuss it.
