I think most Canadian provinces are operating on the same lines as UKGov at the moment. They're determined to ignore the facts of the situation until it's too late. After all, voting workers are expendable to RWNJs.

I wish the autumn vaccine included far more people. But even as a severely immunosuppressed person who gets it - and also the Spring Covid vaccine - I'm very concerned my husband who is also my registered unpaid carer won't get it. He's already battling Long Covid ... And there are only a couple of Boots chemists in Scotland who sell the vaccine privately. It is vastly more scarce to obtain than in England.

Still keeping my fingers crossed for a nasal vaccine.

Yes, that's the much better option. But the same supply, cost etc. issues will haunt even that.

I THINK it will again be pretty straightforward to get a booster this autumn here in Germany - even maybe for free because I have a good GP and my insurer for state health insurance probably would rather pay for a booster than pay my sick pay for 2-3 weeks. Even if not, it seems easy to get other optional vaccinations by paying. Reminds me, book 2nd shingles shot!

It won't matter how the vaccine is administered if governments do not approve and promote its distribution.

I'm really shocked at where the UK has gone with this. It's doubling down in the dumbest, most destructive ways imaginable.
