Date: 2023-11-16 10:16 pm (UTC)1) I'm not convinced this study demonstrates anything besides the fact "white" people have all kind of biases regarding white vs. PoC's faces, which isn't surprising, and that the people who code AI algorithms have biases too and/or use flawed datasets (here, real = "generic"), which is something we already knew. Or am I missing something?

Looks like the group I did my PhD. with were involved in this paper. I was making photo caricatures, so I can see the progression to using AI.
