Yay (maybe) for the environment, but honestly, it's been years and years since a dodgy battery was a reason for me to switch phone. It's either lack of space caused by ever larger but unremovable apps, or operating system / security updates ceasing, or button failure.

I don't worry about the cancer. I want to know what it's doing elsewhere. I remember when it first showed up on the market in diet drinks. I was at a retreat. On the second (third?) day, one person and then another suddenly entered the common room and asked who could take them into town to buy some diet coke (or whatever it was) right now. They were jonesing. Whatever it was doing to them, they were addicted to it, and other caffeine drinks would not suffice.
