I was with the password game right up until the ... Well, I won't spoil it... But you know where...

Rule 9 got me. At first I thought it was parentheses, then I recognized the clash with rule 7.

I got to rule 14 but the embed won't load even if I refresh (and start again). Was enjoying it, I'll try again with a better connection!

That was probably where I meant. But if so, I think that's got to be where it ends - unless the "password challenge" writer(s) have a very clever program to solve that. But who knows, it might be easier than I think?

On the "embolden all vowels" level we somehow set fire to the password and then failed to protect the egg when removing the burning characters.
At that point it was ceasing to be fun and neither of us would have reached that point if we weren't enjoying doing something together.
Once the password started requiring emojis it lost any semblance of reality too; though I suppose you can cut'n'paste from a password manager.

7. Interesting! It might explain why pressure was certainly put upon someone transitioning back in my day to insist that you had to kowtow to gender difference and that big time.

And then turn around and say "Oh, they're not really trans, they just want to do a girl/boy thing, the real problem is stereotypes, that's why being trans is bad!!!"

Of course! And as ever they avoid mentioning being intersex (which I also am).

#4 I keep hoping for objective measures for diagnosing autism, rather than subjective psychologist evaluation. This story looks like another step in that direction.

??

I'd rather have a subjective evaluation of my mind than a subjective evaluation of my stools to tell me I thought differently than a "standard" group of people.

And it is not clear which is cause and which is effect.

#4 was interesting, but far too focused on diagnosis and therapies for autism, rather than looking at it the other way round: how can we help autistic people to have fewer gut issues, which limit their lives?

1. I think it was around 2002 when I decided that my users weren't sufficiently interested to choose a password that was secure enough to defeat the attackers the guidance was aimed at defeating.

Today I realise I should have said the users weren't sufficiently motivated, which would have highlighted a possible solution.
