I hope the runner up actor doesn't feel bad when they read that article

I've enjoyed Sex Education on the whole. I don't recall being particularly taken with Gatwa's performance. Certainly not as taken with his peformance as I was with Whitaker's before she was cast and that turned out to be not great.

I expect Davies will be better than Chibnall. That's not a high bar.

I am largely unmoved by the current Doctor Who developments.

I tend to the view that the scripts were a problem and the direction was a problem rather than Whittaker and that's a shame.

He's certainly to blame, even if it isn't his fault.

I still haven't forgiven him for The Power of Three.

I sure did catch Whittaker doing some actual acting at times despite the dreadful material she was given to work with.

Yeah, in the bits she was allowed to do her job properly she was pretty good. I think she'd have been better than pretty good if she'd had a good platform which allowed her to get in to the character more. Shame. A real missed opportunity.

I thought he picked up a lot during the scenes at the African wedding.

Yes, you are right. He was good in those and those were some interesting bits of drama.

3. That'll please the owners. Finally rid of the most bolshie union workers, who could cause very high-profile disruption. I can't be 100% pleased at the changes in balance of power these automations are bringing. (Whilst fully acknowledging that union leaders can be just as power hungry egomaniacs as people in any other position of that level)

Lol. Caught out! I usually do read through the articles first, but in this case I skimmed the first page then got distracted. :-)

See a five-minute loop of the glorious climactic scene in "Shin Godzilla" in which the train union workers send driverless Shinkansens loaded with high explosives at Godzilla, as the opening move in the final attack.

I adore this film, it is second only to "The Martian" in my heart. It may be summed up as "Godzilla vs the Japanese bureaucratic-industrial complex, bureaucrats and workers win on points."
