7. It looks like, from the article, that the way the govt fncked things up was by not having a wheelchair-accessible shuttle to take the minister to another entrance. That this one entrance to the building isn't accessible shouldn't be a killer problem as long as there's a way to get to another entrance, and apparently there isn't. But blaming the delegation for not informing the organizers that they had a wheelchair-user isn't on; organizers should be flexible enough to deal with this.

Also ... waiting there two hours, and then having to return to the hotel - in Edinburgh? Surely Glasgow has enough facilities to house an entire conference?

Not an entire conference and a lot of protesters who were more organised than the attendees and booked things out early, I think...
