71% is a huge improvement from when I was young as my own experience was nothing like unusual back then.

US Onshore Wind

The production tax credit referenced in the US onshore wind looks to be $18 per MWH - so that would take the base cost of wind belt production to about $40 per MWH. Which is not a bad price.
