1. Scottish Greens are a mixed bunch, and dealing with a metric tonne or five of crap right now. Got it.

2. Not for me, I think, but I expect that someone will have fun watching.

4. Glad that Mohammed Aisha finally got to go home again. And his story does highlight the pains that other sailors are still enduring across the planet.

(Also, filing this away for future projects!)

5. Yep! Exactly this!

I love the cartoon about the dark story plowing off the cliff so much. I keep seeing it shared, and going to see if the author did anything else I'm excited to read, and it keeps not being anything particular. But it's still a really glorious explanation of dark stories.

I'd expect the economic recovery from COVID to be pretty rapid.

The consensus seems to be gravitating towards 3 days in, 2 days out. So that implies a 40% drop in turnover for eg sandwich shops.

Yeah. I think most of the value in running a city centre sandwich shop goes in rent.

Mind you,not all of the businesses affected by a change in working from home driven changes in turnover will have the same cost profile as a sandwich shop.

And over the medium term I'd expected good areas for offices to end up with the same number of people in them and less good areas to see large reductions.
