Sands of Time was so awesome. I never played the followup Thrones one.
That said I'm really concerned based on the looks. I hope it retains the gameplay and feel. Something about it feels... cheap in appearance. Like it's trying too hard to be a bit of the first and second in style. Edgier but with a little cel-shaded cartoony feel to soften the edge? IDK.

I hope it's good, look forward to seeing how well they pull it off. I was looking at a game (can't remember the name) about an Indian female protaganist with somewhat similar mechanics, but clunkier controls. It's on the Switch store and PC (maybe PS & Xbox too, not sure). I'm curious, but not enough to spend the money. I don't think there was a time mechanic either just similar platforming. And a different combat style..

As for the sands of time, though, I love the whole running on walls and time reversal mechanics that sands of time had.

On American men thinking they're centrist-this is the Overton window problem.

My apartment is filled with smoke smell and we are all coughing; the light outside is yellow-gray, and there is so little light that the automatic parking lot lights stay on all day. Coworkers have been evacuated (some multiple times as the fires keep moving) along with their animals-horses, goats, cats, dogs. People living just 3 miles from me have been evacuated.

Because of the extremely dry summer and low humidity, and some high winds last weekend, the city was filled with small fires - mostly caused by trees taking out power lines that then sparked dry grass and shrubs. But some are from homeless people trying to keep warm overnight, or cooking food.

The soonest we can expect some relief is still 4 days away, when the wind is supposed to change and there's a small chance of rain.
