Like it's trying too hard to be a bit of the first and second in style. Edgier but with a little cel-shaded cartoony feel to soften the edge? IDK.
I hope it's good, look forward to seeing how well they pull it off. I was looking at a game (can't remember the name) about an Indian female protaganist with somewhat similar mechanics, but clunkier controls. It's on the Switch store and PC (maybe PS & Xbox too, not sure). I'm curious, but not enough to spend the money. I don't think there was a time mechanic either just similar platforming. And a different combat style..
As for the sands of time, though, I love the whole running on walls and time reversal mechanics that sands of time had.
