Date: 2020-09-10 05:01 am (UTC)It reminds me of those silly 'leadership' or whatever games where they try to get people to pretend that chocolate coins are stakes worth getting excited and arguing about, and there are quite a lot of people who do get excited, even though it is utterly irrational to do so. Though fewer if everyone has just had lunch, and no-one's hungry....
I was just told yesterday that most of the tinned tomatoes in the EU are actually from China, and just packed in Italy...
