Sophia fell asleep in the pram on the way home from nursery today, which is unusual for her. She then proceeded to sleep all the way through to bedtime, waking up a couple of times for long enough to complain loudly about being awake (about ten seconds) before falling asleep again. This is not normal behaviour, but we foolishly assumed she was just exhausted after waking up repeatedly the previous night (she's teething a fair bit right now). We both woke up instantly the moment there were very*wet* sounds, and swung into action. She hasn't vomited in the bed for ages (I think about a year, but I can't be entirely sure), but clearly our skills haven't atrophied, as I got clean sheets sorted, Jane got her stripped and showered and she was back in a clean bed within five minutes, albeit now with spiky wet hair and wrapped in a towel. At which point she was a lot happier and more with it, and also significantly more awake. Thankfully, one episode of "In the Night Garden" later she's going back to sleep now. I hope.

Poor chicken. Glad getting rid of the culprit helped her feel better.

All that in 5 minutes! I hope she's feeling better today, and Jim too.
