He makes promises willy-nilly without regard to whether he ever intends to fulfil them, so there's a lot to renege on. But now I look at his position, it seems like his obvious strategy is to run out the clock: to keep promising that he has a secret solution up his sleeve to stave off parliament as long as possible, and hope parliament never get their act together to VoNC him. And then if no deal brexit goes ahead, blame all the bad things on the EU enforcing the rules unfairly and claim he'll save everyone :(
