Date: 2019-04-25 05:36 pm (UTC)The "a lot of people say" bit is catching the wrong end of the stick. The point isn't whether the speakers are evading responsibility for their words. The point is the substantive one of: if Brexit results in the UK remaining subject to EU rules, then what the F was the point of Brexit? It was supposed to get the EU out from under. But of course that's impractical, so the actual solution is NOT TO HAVE BREXIT AT ALL, but that's too obvious to be implemented.
Publishing scientific research results in the form of tweet-storms really, really sucks.
