Also, as someone on twitter pointed out, garages aren't exactly cheap.

Hobbits were adept with missile weapons, from rocks to bows and arrows-- they wouldn't do a massed foot attack against a mammoth. I don't think they'd have much of a chance unless they could hit those big anime eyes.

Clearly a more sensible setup for the noodle race would have been to have the two contestants starting at opposite ends of the same noodle. I see nothing that can go wrong there.

I've never seen Lady and The Tramp, but I'm led to believe it all turns out well.
