The first writer in the "fascist teen" thread says you can only change them if they're willing. But what the long story that follows shows is that they often don't realize they're open to change until they encounter another way. That's confirmed by other stories I've read, like the one about the scion of a hate group who went to college and had his eyes opened after he was invited to a Passover seder by his fellow students.

What I wish Jesus had said to the person writing about his teachings is, "You need an editor. Oy, do you ever need an editor."
