I would be interested in how the ethinyl-estradiol (EE2) gets into the water system. Most women don't throw away their birth control pills, so: is it unchanged after it leaves the human body? Is it unchanged by sewage treatment systems? If so, does it ever change, or does it continue to ravage more fish?
