Sigh

I'm beginning to suspect that my mood is now dependent on my diet far more than it used to be. Following 3 days of eating crap (due to a leaving do and my father being up and therefore my eating out more) I've got no enthusiasm for anything

I managed an hour and a half at the mission, half-heartedly dancing to a few songs, before I headed for home. It is nice to know that Mission->Home via the park takes only half an hour, but I'd rather have been having so much fun there that I didn't walk home so early.

Back on the diet tomorrow...

Not surprised. I'm a bit that way myself, and if I really binge on crap, I know it. Hope things go well returning to the diet!

Welcome to my world :-)

It took me until Thursday (though I made myself exercise on Wednesday night) last week to recover from my week's holiday (too much bread, too much coffee - the Danes make great coffee.)

I got very dopey and grumpy (briefly) yesterday afternoon, probably because about lunchtime I ate a couple of scones that I'd made and tasted the jam I made to go with.

[Why, you may ask was I being so daft as to make such things? Simple. I had half a carton of milk that had gone sour and scones or soda bread is the best use of it. Scones it was (half white, half wholemeal, no sugar), since Sean will eat those, and then there was no jam in the house, and the scones were not sweet, I used up some rhubarb I had in the freezer to make jam.]

I also slept badly, partly because it was hot, and partly because when Sean crashed into bed he was pretty plastered and giggled to himself for ages, then tossed and turned quite a bit. I never sleep in on the weekends either so I was up at 7-7:30 again both days.
