Not _quite_ enough to fork out cash up front. But if they hit the mainstream, and the reviews are good, then I'm very very tempted.

(Swype is staggeringly better than ordinary phone keyboards. And they were better than T9 keyboards from earlier mobile phones. But none of them come close to having a physical QWERTY keyboard.)

As a recommendation for _that_ video, Facebook pointed me towards this one, of cool upcoming tech products:

Many of which look a bit silly, but some of them look actively worthwhile. I'm looking forward to finding out how well the HoloLens works. And that table looks pretty cool.

That's definitely a matter of opinion, I really don't get on with Swype at all, and have gone through multiple different Android T9s with predictive until I settled on Go, which is almost as good as the T9 I had on my Nokia N8, I think the loss of decent alphanumeric input is one of the bigger drawbacks of the touchscreen revolution.

However, that does look good, if you can type on it properly then it'll be usable, not sure I'd have much use for it given it'd need a desk to work from, but it's at least both portable and usable.
